Gifford Place Cemetery Podcasts Open Day

Following on from their successful audio trail at the Old Jewish cemetery on the Plymouth Barbican, Ruth Mitchell and Derek Frood have created three new podcasts for Plymouth Synagogue's Gifford Place cemetery.

Interviews collected during the first two 2020 lockdowns from families whose ancestors are buried at Gifford Place, have been edited with sound designer Ed Jobling.

They can be listened to online or in situ at the cemetery as part of the Jewish Heritage Days on Sunday 5 September.

To book a slot on the open day, from 11am to 3pm, please contact Jerry Sibley at the Plymouth Synagogue on 07753 267616 or via email at phccaretaker@yahoo.co.uk
