Bead N Bitch

In another digital live event as part of Mayflower 400 UK, Sttlmnt Indigenous and Plymouth based @theconscioussisters present the online ‘Bead N Bitch’ sessions throughout March on 4, 11, 18 and 25 from 7pm-8pm UK time.

The event will be led by First Nation artist, Dayna Danger from Montreal, Canada, who will guide participants through a beading & reflecting session looking at the Metis tradition of Kitchen Tabletop Talks.

Dayna Danger is a visual artist who claims space with her human scale work to challenge perceptions of power, representation and sexuality.

The concept is simple, to gather around tables, usually ones large and round, beading, eating, crafting, sharing, laughing, exchanging stories and more.
