Behind the scenes of '400: A Comedy' with the award-winning Le Navet Bete

The award-winning Le Navet Bete rounded off their 'Season of Silliness' at Theatre Royal Plymouth this summer with '400: A Comedy' - a fast-paced comedy for all the family which formed part of the Mayflower 400 commemorations.

Armed with bucket loads of fun, farce and physical comedy along with a truck load of costumes to boot, Devon's favourite funny men harnessed their impeccable powers of improvisation to tackle 400 years of history.

Le Navet Bete once again teamed up with internationally renowned comedian and long-time collaborator Tony Hawks, and John Nicholson (Peepolykus, BBC Radio 4), one of UK theatre’s best comedy writers and directors.

Performed in the Lyric and the Drum across a number of dates, this wonderful show featured hilarious musical numbers, questionable dance routines and some surprise special guests in an ‘out of this world’ adventure those who witnessed will never forget.
