Has Mayflower 400 in Plymouth got you thinking about the sea?
Do you know a keen young writer with an interest in the ocean and sustainability?
Plymouth City Council's education team is in the process of securing content for the next Anthology – an annual book published by University of Plymouth Press containing work from young people on a specific theme.
This year's theme is 'ocean and sustainability', and selected work will be published in the 'Save Our Seas' Anthology.
Poems, prose and illustrations are accepted and, for those needing some inspiration, there's a selection of pre-recorded workshops provided that can be used by teachers, or parents to help encourage young people to get creative.
Submissions are open now, and to receive further digital tools to help your child get creative and to submit their work, email plymouthanthology@gmail.com
