Le Navet Bete and Barbican Theatre present 400: A Historical Comedy.
Having wowed audiences for more than ten years with their incredible, fast-paced Christmas shows, Plymouth favourites Le Navet Bete team up with renowned comedy writer Tony Hawks to return with a brand new, action-packed comedy show like no other.
The show was originally due to take place at the Plymouth Athenaeum from 15 July to 9 August, 2020 but, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, it has now been moved to Theatre Royal Plymouth, running from 9 June to 3 July, 2021 at The Drum.
As part of Ocean City’s Mayflower 400 commemorations, expect 400 years of history in 100 minutes - from the West Country to Wild West, from the Barbican to Boston.
Join four idiots as they explore our relationship with America and possibly answer some of our nation's most important questions like, 'Why is baseball "just not cricket"?'; 'Why was Queen Victoria not amused?', and, 'Why do our American friends call trousers "pants"?'
Those who have already bought tickets for the original dates, will be contacted by the Barbican Theatre Plymouth to arrange for your booking to be transferred to the Theatre Royal Plymouth (TRP).
TRP will then get in touch directly with all those who have agreed to transfer their bookings to confirm which of the new 2021 performances their tickets are secured for.
For those yet to buy tickets, they will go on sale on the TRP website in due course and we will update you when this happens.
You'll be the first to hear the latest Mayflower news, events, and more.
