Mayflower 400 - Get Active in May

A programme of free sessions focusing on walking and running is being run in Plymouth throughout February as part of the Mayflower 400 ‘Get Active’ initiative - one of the many highlights of the city's year-long Mayflower 400 commemorations.

This exciting sports programme shines a spotlight on a different sport or activity each month. May's focus is on walking and running, with a series of fantastic, free taster sessions taking place across Plymouth for people aged 18 and over.

Led by Argyle Community Trust, the activities are organised and run by professional and community sport clubs across Plymouth with the aim of driving participation in Mayflower 400 and creating a legacy of improved health and wellbeing throughout 2020 and beyond.

The programme features a combination of headline and grassroots events, ensuring that opportunities are available for people of all ages and abilities.

It couldn’t be easier to sign up to an activity. Simply visit the booking page, choose a date and click on the ‘Book’ button to view the available activities on that day.

Please note: Some of the activities are for women only.
