Grand Dart River Pageant

A major river-based event signifying the end of Dartmouth Royal Regatta 2020 and the start of Dartmouth’s week of Mayflower commemorations.

On the River Dart, tall ships and visiting local vessels will take part with flags and fancy dress – culminating in a sail-past of the South Embankment.

The ships will be led by the Matthew and all sailing clubs and boat owners on the River Dart and visiting yachtsmen will be invited to take part.

Mayflower Short Film Programme at the Flavel

Films made by the Plymouth College of Arts students, supported by Kingsbridge Students. Film directed by Peter Nicholson.

Mayflower Concerts

"American" Music at the Flavel, including Company B & The Liberty Sisters.

Blues / Folk night of American and British Music.

Scale Mayflower Model

A meticulously-designed 10-foot replica scale model of the Mayflower will be on display.

Created by a team of local shipwrights and volunteers, led by Captain Ian Kirkwood, with help from students at South Devon Marine Academy for the Dartmouth Mayflower 400 team.

The replica will be the centrepiece of a flagship exhibition in Dartmouth for the Mayflower 400 commemorations with display boards and descriptive interactive screens.

Performance of Safe Haven

Safe Haven Play performances in the Stone Barn at Little Dartmouth, along with magnificent picnic opportunities.

A play written especially for Dartmouth Mayflower 400 by Derek Parsons and Keith Myerson, sung and performed by local people.
