Illuminate Immingham 2019

Immingham celebrates its connection to the Mayflower Pilgrims with a dazzling array of lanterns in its Illuminate Parade commencing at the Civic Hub on the evening of Friday 29th November.

It is hoped that the 2019 event will incorporate digital light projection featuring work of a regional artist who will be working with the community. The evening will culminate in a service of thanksgiving at St Andrew’s Church.

Free workshops will take place in the weeks leading up to the parade offering the opportunity to create and take part. Members of the public are also encouraged to support the event and volunteers are welcome to come forward.

Immingham Illuminate is part of the Pilgrim Roots ‘Pilgrim Festival’, a two-week festival in the home towns and villages of many of the Mayflower Pilgrims including Gainsborough, Bawtry, Boston, Retford, Worksop and Immingham.

Details to be confirmed.
