Plymouth Christmas Market returns for 2018

The perfect place to pick up perfectly individual and unique gifts - the Plymouth Christmas Market brings a festive buzz, holiday happiness and superb entertainment to the city centre.

Located in the heart of the vibrant maritime city from November 29 to December 16, there will be more than 50 log cabins and other seasonal stalls festooned with fairy lights.

While you visit warm up with a drink from the Bavarian Bar or tuck into some delicious festive food from one of the many street food stands on offer.

Traders from the South West and beyond will be selling everything from handmade jewellery and clothing, to artwork and homewares. You can even pick up a real Christmas tree!

Some of the region’s favourite food and drink traders will also be returning to the Market this year, including Smeaton’s Smokehouse who specialise in smoked cheese and meats, English Spirit Distillery who will be selling a range of premium liqueurs and a variety of crumbly, loose, packaged and dairy-free vegan fudge from Roly's Fudge.

If your little ones like story time make sure to visit local author, Alison, who will be selling a selection of her children’s stories entitled ‘Behind the Fairy Door’ in paperback and hardback with an assortment of merchandise and toys.

Plymouth Argyle will be selling club merchandise from one of the cabins, so if you have some Pilgrim supporters to buy for this Christmas why not pop down to see what’s on offer.

Also brand new this year is our illuminated bauble arch! Big enough to walk through, it's perfect for those festive family snaps.

There will also be live music to entertain the crowds each Thursday to Sunday for the duration of the Market. Listen to the sounds of choirs and local musicians, sure to put you in the festive mood as you wander through the great range of stalls.

The Christmas Market will be open until 6pm Monday to Saturday and until 5pm on Sunday, with late openings every Thursday until 9pm, so you can take your time and enjoy browsing the stalls under the sparkling city centre Christmas lights.

Don’t forget to take a snap under the bauble arch and share your photos using #ChristmasInPlymouth!
